SASS & BIDE 2008 “Black Rats” leggings

Description: Original "Black Rats" ruched leggings in matt black with elastic waist band. These are the original version that were first shown at the F/W 2008 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York. Waist band can be worn down on the hips or can sit up to just under the belly button.

Composition: 94% polyester. 6% elastane.

Manufactured: As these are the original version, they are made in Australia.

Please note, once Myer purchased 65% of Sass and Bide in 2011 and then subsequently acquired the remaining 35% in 2013, the manufacturing of "Black Rats" was outsourced to China.

Fits like: true to size.

Measurements: (laid flat, fastened & unstretched). waist: 12.5”/31.5cm, hips: 14.5”/36.5cm, front rise: 8.5”/21.5cm, back rise: 10.5”/26.5cm, inseam: 34.5”/87.5cm, outseam: 41”/104cm

Condition: In great second hand condition. There are two small stitching pulls on outside of right leg lower calf. Otherwise lycra and stitching is intact and in great condition.

Please note: It is really rare to find an original pre 2011/made in Australia pair without the elastic/stitching semi or completely blown out.

Original material tag has been cut out from previous owner. ‘’Sass & Bide” and composition label still intact.
